My latest collage piece. I like the variations in scale and the incorporation of re-iterated collage-allage elements that grow so fine in detail they almost become fine grained noise.
That's really beautiful!
Wow. This is amazing!
It's like a blend of peacocks and the universe! It's so detailed and colorful, and overwhelming in the good sense! Me gusta! Me gusta!
wow man this is amazing..... !!!!!!!
the detail really is beautiful. great job!

What colors !!
one of the best collages ive ever seen! beautiful!
That is pure awesome! The colours are the best part!
Wow, I love colours~ The image is a bit small, though. I can't get all the details in, but even so. WONDERFUL JOB :>
wow this is beautiful
This is amazing. What'd you use?
It is photocollage with acrylic paint. Some of the collage elements are photos of previous collages.
The beauty of chaos! Frickin awesome
I've often seen an image like this when I hear a choir sing. (synthasethia) But I've never been able to capture it, but you did. The contrast, the movement.. it's potential energy is fantastic. You may see the diminishing fine detail as noise, but I hear only harmony. Thank you for sharing it.
I think I'm hallucinating--Very cool indeed!!....Signed David Lee H./"ASTRO"Dave'
Amazing work, I love how it feels like it captures what your feeling
Thanks for the feature. Cool stuff in there. Per your article, I can only speak for myself, I have no idea what motivates other abstract artists. I find abstract art a great challenge. How does an artist paint something unseen? It is a journay of discovery that makes it much more exciting than the reiteration of an image already in front of you. It is a discovery both of the form and of the expression that form conveys and thus it is more rewarding than simple duplication. Who knows what you will get when you face a blank surface and venture into the unkown? How do you put enough control into something so chaotic that it hangs together and becomes art instead of random crap? As to that discovered expression, I believe the human brain will always look for pattern and meaning and if you create something beautiful yet unkown the mind will project its own meaning onto that mystery creating the esthetic union of artist/image/viewer that is the experience of art. Psychologists use this tendency with Rorschach ink blots and I always enjoy the projected meanings viewers of my art find that I had no intent in consciously creating! A work of art is thus always less and more than the artists intent. My work is almost pure design with elements going down onto the page in an evolutionary fashion without planning and mostly through visual similarity. What has gone down before determines that which will follow and I simply try to ride herd on what happens and impose a pleasing order. Sometimes I do. Sometimes I don't. That makes it a risk but I find it more powerful than things I willfully create as opposed to things that evolve. I can't really take credit for this type of work as it simply happens through me, filtered by my own esthetic but not really a thing that is under conscious control.
A bit polluted for collage style, and it missed quality. But it's also good!
I appreciate critique so I will try and understand yours. Polluted by what? What is "collage style"? and what quality did it miss?
Polluted by many shapes, they made the canvas full =X You should dim the edges to give more focus, this work is missing postwork.Collage style? You put your work in the section "collage" and don't know what is it?Strange. And yeah, you missed much quality, unfortunately,dA drastically strip the job's quality.
Please make into a magnet print!
wow this is so very pretty,i love the way you paint.
Congratulations on your DD!
